Semanakraseye

Literally means: 'people-wills-one'. It is a democratic appointed, hereditary position of the demarch of Yeola-e. The Semanakraseye is the representative of the nation and the leader in case of a war. He doesn't formally have any power himself, unless specifically mandated to by a resolution of Assembly or national referendum.. So the description: 'the only slave in Yeola-e' is relatively accurate, as he is not allowed any choice in most situations, even in marriage and he is not allowed to own anything. As any position in Yeola-e, it isn't restricted to any gender.

A Semanakraseye is since the War of the Travesty is required to regularly perform the Ritual of Kiss of the Lake.

Tradition dictates that children of the Semanakraseye are stream tested the old way.
